Hoysalas of Dwarasamudra, Vinayaditya, Gold 1/4 Fanam, 0.15g, Obv: Stylized Lion walking right, large crescent above with Sun symbol just above the Crescent, Rev: Lotus about to be blossomed, within a circular border. Extremely fine, extremely rare.
The Lotus symbol is known only in Vinayaditya Hoysala’s Gadyanas and hence this is presumed to be the fractional coins of his Gadyana issue.
