Ancient Gujarat, Personal Gold Signet Seal, 0.31g, with Brahmi legend “Sharavanāya शरवणाय” in scalloped border, with two brackets attached at the back, Gupta-Kshatrapa period. Extremely fine, rare.
The grammar of the inscription suggests that the owner of this seal was a woman. Highly unusual as such.
