Chindaka Nagas, Anonymous, Gold Gadyana, 3.80g, 33mm, Bracteate repousse Uniface, 8 X-“Sri Sri Lenkana Singama” Kannada legend punches on the periphery, 1X Central punch with Tiger-calf crest, Sun and moon symbols above. Tiger and Calf is shown standing facing left on obverse (Ref: Prabhu & Jain, Coinex Pune 2016, Chindaka Nagas of Chakrakota, p8). Extremely fine, extremely rare. So far, only Khammam hoard was known which had 46 coins altogether. Only 39 are under Govt custody and 7 escaped to private collections. The above specimen is from a small lot of just a few coins of varied rulers, no more than can be counted on one's fingers.
