Most likely the first ever known gold fractional coin of the Qila Shahabad mint. Shahabad fort was constructed in the 17th century in the Baran region near Kota. In 1838 it was recognised as a discontinuous part of Jhalawar State and handed over from Kota to Jhalawar. The mint remained operational under both states.
