Rashtrakutas, Silver Dramma, 0.84g, Obv: Three-quarters bust of king with ulging eyes and elaborate moustache, Rev: God of Wealth Kubera seated facing on a lotus, flanked by two female attendants (Fishman & Todd, The Silver Damma, U4). Very rare. A rare and unusual type from central India. This is the earliest instance of Kubera, the Hindu God of Wealth, depicted on a silver coin.
