Very Fine+, Very Rare. In 1674, the Cash coins from Pulicat were forbidden in Ceylon (Sri Lanka). After that the Governor apparently ordered the copper coins from Negapatnam, situated within his own jurisdiction. These coins were lighter in weight and his administration enjoyed the resulting profits thereof from the low weight coins.
