Alamgir II, Silver Rupee, 10.86g, Kalima type, Dar ul Khilafat Shahjahanabad mint, AH 1168/2 (KM# 455.2). Centrally struck with nearly all the legend on either side. Very fine for type, very rare.
The Kalima on coins of the Imperial Mughals was discontinued by Aurangzeb. This is the only instance in the post-Aurangzeb era when Kalima is re introduce by Alamgir II but was discontinued soon. Thus coins of this type are very rare.
