Yadava’s of Devgiri, Ramchandra, Gold Gadyana, light weight, 2.80g, uniface, Five punches-2x stylised Kannada “Shri”, 1x Shanka Chakra emblem, 1x Devnagari legend “Shri Rama” around, warrior running to right in centre. Very fine, rare.
This coin is very different from other issues of Yadavas and was perhaps struck at a diffident provincial mint. The Vaishnavite context of most symbols makes it clear that the coin is an issue of Yadavas.
