Akbar, Silver Rupee, 11.44g, Gwalior Mint, AH 968, mint name on bottom. Very fine+, extremely rare. Akbar camped at Gwalior in AH 968 while undertaking a campaign against the Sultans of Malwa. The coin was perhaps struck as payment for the troops.
