Karman, Copper Paisa, 5.11g, “Fish” type- Braj region, in the name of Shah Alam II. Unpublished, very fine, very rare. There were many mints operating in the Braj region providing small change for the pilgrim traffic. Karman is a newly discovered mint. The village of Karman is located to the North of Kosi, which was another mint in the Braj region. With no AH or RY visible it is not possible to attribute this coin to any one political authority, but Marathas and Jats of Bharatpur are the two possible contenders.
