Punch Mark coin, Vidharbha (Godavari-Krishna delta series Amravati). Silver ½ Karshapana, 1.60g, Obverse has four symbols in ABCC configuration – 1 x elephant to right, 2 x A bold Taurine surrounded by four small circles interspersed with dots and 1 x tree with branches, (not listed in Rajgor Mitchiner pp.979-983). Extremely fine, extremely rare. This coinage is distinct from its later phase, in terms of being quite thin and broad flan size.
