Anonymous copper Dam 12.79g Bandar Machhlipatan Mint AH (12)11. Very fine rare. The anonymous type was initiated in Aurangzeb’s reign at Machhlipatan but continued for a long time. It was issued by many authorities, including the Nawabs of Machhlipatan, the English EIC and the Dutch VOC. With the date truncated it is not possible to attribute it, but the lighter than normal weight suggests a later issue.
