Nawabs of Cuddappah as vassals of Tipu Sultan Copper Cash 2.13g Chapalampalli Mint AH1211 struck in the elephant type of Mysore but with the name of Shah Alam II on reverse. Extremely fine very rare. The mint-name appears to read ‘Chapalampalli’, which is most likely identified with the village of Chapalapalli, Nellore district, Andhra Pradesh which lies within the political ambits of the Nawabs of Cuddappah.
