Yasho Narayan, Silver 1/4th Tanka, 2.67g, Bengali legend on both sides within a double circle surrounded by dots (KM# 107, RB# 21.3). Extremely fine, extremely rare. Very little is known about this obscure State a few coins were struck during the 18th & 19th centuries but this was probably merely as a demonstration of independence rather than for any economic reason. Thus coins of Kachar are extremely rare.
