This is the first year of this type and rather than an error, this is attributable more to experimentation with the newly created dies as the placeholder for RY shows absolutely no signs of any strike and is completely unstruck. This is possible only when the RY was not engraved on the die itself. Never observed earlier. A regular coin of the same type and the same year AH 1324 (with RY 40) is shown as comparison. Both coins are part of this auction lot. Extremely Rare.
