The couplet was used only in the first year of Muhammad Shah and only on the coins of Multan mint. Its variant ‘…az Lutf-i Alah’ is known on many more mints such as Surat and Gokak. At the beginning of the first hemistich, it resonates with the coin couplet of Aurangzeb.
