Very fine, extremely rare.Pieper describes the legend below the hill-symbol as ‘Dhavata’ but it is in all likelihood ‘Pavata’ (Parvata = hill/ mountain). The coin-type is enigmatic, very rare and significant for the study of ancient Indian polity and religion.
