Pre-Satavahana, Vidarbha Region- Paoni area, Ashvabudha, Punch Marked, Copper, 3.06g, Uniface, Five symbol type, Tree and four orb Ujjaini symbol on top, bull and geometric symbol and in centre Brahmi legend “Asubudh” on obverse (Kulkarni ICS News letter No. 41). Very fine, very rare. From Paoni area coins with the ending name “Bhadasa” and “Mitasa” rulers are known but very few specimens are known of ruler Asubudh. Very rare.
