Kushans, Kanishka I, Copper Tetradrachm, 14.82g, “Buddha” type, Obv: King standing left, holding standard, sacrificing over altar to left, traces of Bactrian legend, Rev: Maitreya Buddha seated cross-legged facing on stool, one hand raised in gesture of Abhayamudrā and holding kamanḍalu (water pot) in the other; Bactrian legend “...O BOU(D)O...” to left and tamgha to right. Very fine for type, very rare.
