Dattas of Ancient Eastern Malwa, Tripuri region, Uninscribed Lead, 2.50g, Obv: Swastika with taurines attached to the end of each arm, Rev: Tree in railing. Very fine. The obverse symbol is characteristic of the Datta dynasty, which flourished in the immediate pre- Satavahana period in Eastern Malwa. Larger units of the same type bear legends of Datta kings such as Ajadatta, Bhavadatta etc.
