Nashik- Gulshanabad, Silver Rupee, 11.25g, in the name of Shah Alam II, AH 1200, bow-and-arrow, flower and bel leaf symbols on reverse. Extremely fine, very rare. This rupee is perhaps the last of the ‘flower’-marked rupees before a new series (‘flag’/’Jaripatka’ mark) rupees was introduced. Every known year in the ‘flower’-marked coins has a slightly different variety of flower on the reverse. Here the flower resembles the French lily or iris flower.
