Pune- Muhiabad, Silver 1/4 Rupee- 4 Annas, 2.79g, in the name of Shah Alam II, ‘Farshi’ or battle-axe type, dated RY 5. Very fine, extremely rare. The ‘Farshi’ coins were marked with a battle-axe symbol. Although it is out of flan on this piece, the attribution is certain by general execution and the placement of RY.
