Later Kushans inspired coinage in the Gangetic Valley, Gold Dinar, 7.68g, Obv: Nimbate king, wearing skull-cap, tunic, boots and girdle with dagger, standing with a ‘chakra’-standard in one of his hands and offering sacrifice at an altar with the other, a trident-standard with ribbons in the background, Brahmi letter ‘Sh’/‘Shri’ below the arm holding the ‘chakra’-standard and ‘Ma…’ to its right, degraded Greek legend around, Rev: Nimbate Goddess, seated on high-backed throne, holding cornucopia and a noose, traces of legend ‘Ardokhsho’ to right and a Tamgha in the left field (Goebl# 578). Extremely fine, very rare.
