Very fine, rare. The St John Ambulance Brigade was a British organisation that provided first aid and medical services in India, and is still active in the country. The medal awarded prior to 1947 had a profile of Queen Victoria on the obverse, which was replaced with that of Mahatma Gandhi post-1947.
