Very fine, extremely rare. The Aulikaras came into prominence as feudatories of the Guptas. From inscriptional evidence there appear to be two branches – an earlier one and a later one. It is not known if the two were related in any way. Naravarman is a ruler from the first branch. He was most likely appointed as a feudatory (Rajasthaniya) in Northern Malwa by Samudra Gupta.
