Dattas of Ancient Eastern Malwa, Tripuri region, Uninscribed Lead, 2.38g, Uniface, Swastika with Taurines attached to the end of each arm on obverse. Very fine. The obverse symbol is characteristic of the Datta dynasty, which flourished in the immediate pre- Satavahana period in Eastern Malwa. Larger units of the same type bear legends of Datta kings such as Ajadatta, Bhavadatta etc.
