Stamp seal of early Gupta / late Kshatrapa period, Most likely from Malwa, Gold, 2.85g, Obverse has Brahmi legend “Govarddhane गोवर्द्धने” which might refer to an individual or to a place. Govarddhana, apart from the famous mountain associated with Krishna, was also the name of a town near Nashik as evident from an inscription. Extremely rare.
