Chalukyas of Badami, Gold Varaha- Gadyana, 3.90g, Uninscribed, “Varaha- Boar” type, Obv: Caparisoned boar facing right; Sun, Moon and an unidentified object above, Rev: Pashupata Shaivite trident, with two scrolls attached at the base, Sun and Moon to right, stylized Ankusha to left (Mitch# 266, plate specimen, K Ganesh ‘Karnataka’ 5.3 plate specimen). Extremely fine, exceedingly rare. Unique so far.
