Post Gupta Bengal, Samatata region, in the name of Shri (dharanarata), Debased Gold Dinar, 4.79g, Obv: King standing facing right, holding a bow in his left hand and an arrow in his right hand, standard with conch shell right to king’s face, with “Shri” written in Brahmi under the king’s left arm and also to the right of the king's head, Rev: Female winged figure, apparently a deity within an inner circle, standing right holding an object in right hand, unread legend on right side (ECB SAM15.1). Very fine, rare. One of the frequently appeared coins of the entire series and identified as the coins of Sridharanarata, a Rata dynasty ruler of Samatata region.
