Post Gupta Bengal, Samatata region, Shri (dharanarata), Debased Gold Dinar, 5.53g, Obv: King standing facing right, holding a bow in his left arm and an arrow in his right hand, standard with conch shell in right field, Brahmi letter “Shri” written below king’s left arm and also to the right of king's head, Rev: Within circle winged Goddess standing right holding an object in right hand, grabbled legend on right side. Both sides within a circle of large dotted border (ECB# SAM15.1). About very fine. One of the frequently appeared coins of the entire series and identified as the coins of Sridharanarata, a Rata dynasty ruler of Samatata region.
