Humayun, while on a campaign against the Afghans in Bengal, struck both tankas and rupees in the same year. The denomination Rupee was introduced by Sher Shah in the year AH945, and Humayun quickly adopted it. Both these issues are very rare and demonstrably, a good indicator of the beginning and spread of the denomination 'Rupee'.
