Kushans, Vasudeva I, Gold Dinar, 7.95g, Obv: Nimbate king standing facing, wearing triangular helmet and a diadem, clad in full armour, tunic, trousers and boots, with flames emanating from right shoulder, holding filleted spear in left hand, offering sacrifice over altar with left, filleted trident to left; Bactrian legend “ShAONANO ShAO BAZODEO KOShANO” around and a Triratna symbol to right, Rev: Lord Oesho (Shiva) standing facing, reclining against Nandi the Bull, with one head, hair in topknot with curls outlining long face, erect lingam, wearing dhoti, with trident in left hand and diadem with two ribbons in right (Göbl# 640A). Extremely fine, extremely rare.
