Saharanpur, Silver Rupee, 11.23g, in the name of Shah Alam II, AH 1208/ RY 35, Devnagari “Ma / Shri” on obverse, struck during the governorship of Bhairav Pant Tatya (Unlisted in M&W). Extremely fine, exceedingly rare. The coin has a letter on obverse which looks like ‘Ma’ in Devanagari, but a comparison with other coins suggests that it is actually the letter ‘Shri’ engraved in a clumsy way. Both these varieties are not listed in Maheshwari & Wiggins.
