Jahangir, Silver Square Rupee, 10.84g, Bang Type, Ship Mast as a Mint mark, Obv: Persian legend “Noor ud din Muhammad Jahangir Badshah Ghazi”, Rev: Kalima, Ship Mast to the left (Not listed in KM). Very fine+, extremely rare. This Jahangir coin bears a resemblance to Akbar's standard Bangala type, listed as KM-86. It adopts the familiar Bangala calligraphy seen in earlier Akbar coins, but with the reverse couplet replaced by Jahangir's royal text, "Noor ud din Jahangir Badshah Ghazi." Interestingly, the coin features a unique element, portraying either a Ship Mast or a boat vessel with three masts.
